What you can choose
- The words. Use a ready-made list (Halloween, Christmas, autumn, animals, fruits or school), or type up to 30 of your own, one per line.
- The grid. 10x10, 12x12, 15x15 or 18x18. A bigger grid fits longer word lists.
- The difficulty. Easy hides words across and down. Medium adds diagonals. Hard uses all eight directions, including backwards.
- Answers. Every puzzle can have its own answer page with the words highlighted.
- Layout. A title, a name and date line, Letter or A4, and four colors.
Good to know
Press New puzzle for a different arrangement of the same words. If a word does not fit, the sheet tells you which one and suggests a bigger grid. For young children, try the kids word search, where words only go across and down.
